On 22 October 2017, Liverpool supporters from across Morocco came together in Marrakech for what became OLSC Morocco's first recorded national meeting. Although the association had not yet received official recognition from Liverpool FC, this gathering marked an important step in bringing Moroccan Reds together under one community, united by their passion for Liverpool Football Club.
The meeting coincided with Liverpool's Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium. While the Reds were defeated 4–1, the result did little to overshadow the significance of the occasion. It was the beginning of a journey that would eventually lead to OLSC Morocco becoming an Official Liverpool Supporters Club in 2019. The friendships, shared experiences, and sense of belonging established during this first national meeting laid the foundation for the thriving community that continues to grow today.
